Dove Creek Farms (Don Perkins) — Winder, Georgia
We are happy to be working with Dove Creek Farms. For the last three years we have had cattle produced by Dove Creek Farms at Tybar Ranch. The cattle have all been PAP tested and have gone through the same stringent Heartland Heifer development program as well as bull development program as the Tybar Cattle. The Dove Creek cattle have done very well and we would place any of them in our Tybar herd. These cattle also have had PAP EPDs calculated for them by CSU. Don and Pat currently have 110 head of cattle on their Winder, Georgia farm and are using top A.I. sires in their program. We can’t say enough about our relationship with Don and Pat and thank them for the trust that they have placed with us. It is nice to work with Angus breeders with such integrity and knowledge.
Lazy H Enterprises (Jeff Hughes) — Casa Grande, Arizona
Jeff Hughes currently runs 80 head of registered Angus cows alongside the Tybar herd. These cattle are managed by Tybar Ranch and go through extensive A.I. along with strict culling requirements, to offer top-quality females through the Tybar Ranch Production Sale. You will also find bulls produced by these cattle in the Tybar Ranch Private Treaty Bull sales program. Jeff currently is working toward getting PAP EPDs calculated on his entire herd with CSU.
TYBAR RANCH has been producing performance–tested BLACK ANGUS cattle since 1980. We are a leader in Pulmonary Arterial Pressure (PAP) testing on 115 different AI sires. Since 1984 TYBAR RANCH has been working closely with Colorado State University and Dr. Tim Holt, DVM, in the prevention of – Brisket Disease or High Mountain Disease. TYBAR RANCH is producing 400 head of PAP–tested, top quality registered cattle to service the commercial and registered producer by providing seedstock and semen with "GENES THAT FIT" today’s market demand.

Averages from our 2009 production sale:
- 1 package of 6 embryos sold for $2000
- 79 registered heifer lots averaged $2216
- 2 bred pair with calves at side averaged $2517
- 15 lots of 18 month old bulls averaged $1960
- 4 lots of 18 month old hereford bulls averaged $1625
- 24 lots of black commercial bred heifers averaged $1179
- 17 lots of Hereford crossbred heifers averaged $1076
Semen For Sale
TYBAR RANCH is always looking for registered breeders who are interested in using PAP-tested semen out of the Tybar program. All Tybar Ranch semen is collected, stored and shipped by Rocky Mountian Sire Service. All straws are $5 and certificates are $10.
